AIM-issue (referred to as "we") is a digital music distribution platform for music creators worldwide. We understand how important your personal information is to you and will do our utmost to protect its security. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect your personal information when you use our services, and the rights you have in relation to it. This Policy is closely related to your rights and interests. Please read it carefully and fully. Important provisions concerning your rights to personal information are highlighted in bold for your attention.

1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

As the processor of personal information, we collect and use your personal information for the following purposes in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, necessity and good faith:

1. Account Login and Authentication: When you log in to the Platform with a Google or PayPal account, with your consent, we obtain the basic profile data you agree to share during authorization, including your email address and the unique account identifier (such as the Google sub or PayPal payer ID), to create and manage your account.

2. Music Distribution and Management: When you upload music works, album information, lyrics, cover images and other digital music content, we collect the audio files, image files and metadata you submit (song title, artist name, language, genre, release date, etc.) to provide you with distribution, promotion and management services.

3. Royalty Settlement and Withdrawal: When you apply to withdraw your distribution earnings, we need to collect information such as your PayPal payout account to complete royalty settlement and payment.

4. Customer Service and User Support: When you contact our customer service, we collect the contact details you voluntarily provide, a description of your issue and the communication records, so that we can respond promptly and improve the quality of our services.

5. Secure Operation and Protection: To ensure the secure operation of the Platform and prevent fraud and abuse, we collect your IP address, device information, operation logs and service logs.

2. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies

1. We use cookies to record your language preference and login status to improve your experience and safeguard the security of our services.

2. Most browsers provide a function to clear cached data. You can clear or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings, although some features may not work properly as a result.

3. Third-Party Services and Information Sharing

To provide login, payment and distribution functions, we share information with the following third-party services to the extent necessary, and they process it under their own privacy policies:

  1. Google: for account login authentication;
  2. PayPal: for account login authentication and payout account verification and settlement;
  3. Cloud storage providers: to store your audio and cover files;
  4. Global digital music channels: such as Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music, to release your works.

Except for the purposes described in this Policy and what is required to release your works on partner channels, we do not sell your personal information to any third party. We may share or disclose information only in the following cases: with your explicit consent; where required by laws, regulations or judicial/administrative authorities; or where necessary to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the Platform, users or the public.

4. How We Protect Your Personal Information

1. We take industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access control and the desensitization of sensitive data.

2. We have established a data security management system, and only authorized personnel can access your personal information.

3. However, no method of transmission or storage over the Internet can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot make an absolute commitment in this regard.

5. How We Store Your Personal Information

1. Storage Location: Your personal information is stored on servers operated by us or our service providers to support our global business operations.

2. Retention Period: We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and as required by law. After your account is closed or you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period; however, some financial records may be retained for the period required by law to meet tax and royalty settlement obligations.

6. Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Information

1. You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent and close your account, and to view or export your revenue data at any time in the User Center.

2. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via the email at the end of this Policy. We will respond and process your request within a reasonable period after verifying your identity (no more than 15 business days).

3. Please note that closing your account is an irreversible action. After closure, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except where otherwise required by law.

7. How We Protect the Personal Information of Minors

1. Our services are intended for music creators and are not directed at children under the age of 16. Minors under the age of 18 should read this Policy and use the services under the supervision of a legal guardian.

2. If we become aware of, or are notified that, we have collected personal information from a child without obtaining prior guardian consent, we will delete it as soon as possible.

8. How We Update This Policy

1. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updated policy will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

2. For material changes that would substantially reduce your rights, we will notify you through prominent means such as in-platform notifications or email. Your continued use of the services after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
